Hyd: AP CID cops take ex-TDP minister Narayana into custody
According to reports, the CID police searched the house for documents. Family members of Narayana alleged that the CID sleuths took him to Vijayawada despite informing them that his health condition is not well. Moreover, they said that notice was not served to the TDP leader under Section 41A of the Cr.P.C.
Taking Narayana into custody has assumed importance in the wake of AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy made allegations in a public meeting few days ago that Narayana and Chaitanya educational institutions were responsible for leaking of tenth question papers. Later in the day, family members of Narayana might speak to the media condemning his arrest without following procedure.
