Beware of Cheating in name of Friendship, etc
Hyderabad, April.4 : Cyber crimes, cheating in the name of chit funds, Bank Credit Cards, Insurance bonus, jobs, matrimonial alliances, friendship, etc., are on the increase now a days. Despite reports in the media relating to frauds of different kinds, almost on a daily basis; people are falling prey to the innovative ways being adopted by fraudsters. Ironically enough, not only the uneducated people but also highly educated are being duped by the unscrupulous elements in different ways. In spite of warnings from time to time, from the police authorities, Banks and Insurance companies, and various organisations and companies about their procedure of recruitment, gullible people are becoming victims of cheating.
Messages on the Mobile seeking friendship has become a routine affair of late. Messages of different manner are received on the mobile, and if one replies to the same, one is sure to be duped by the cheats. The messages give the impression that some people are really interested in making friends with you. One wonders whether people could not make friends with their neighbours and those in their work place, and whether they are dying for want of friends. But, people should take note of the deceiving tactics being reported in the media from time to time, and be aware of such messages. Police authorities say that not answering such friendship and other messages are the safe way.
‘I was new when I came to the city, and this city gave me a sweet heart like You. Call me on…..’, says a message. Another message says ‘Talk to me when your heart needs a company. Call ….. Be my friends.’ Another message says:’ we smile, we laugh, we talk, and we flirt. I am waiting for u to call me….’. ‘Tired of sitting alone? Let’s have some Romantic chit-chat with real friends on ……’ ‘If you want to make friends like a Single Soul in Two Bodies, dial……’ ‘ days have passed by, but her love for you and her care for her has not changed at all. Keep the same alive. Call on ……’. These and many other are the messages being sent seeking to make friendship, obviously to cheat you some way or the other. Beware of such messages.
