Our suggestions eased note ban woes: TRS
Hyderabad, Dec.5: TRS Leader Palla Rajeshwar Reddy today stated that the suggestions made by Telangana Government to the Centre in the wake of demonetization proved handy by giving a great reprieve to the people across the country.
Addressing a press conference at TRS Legislature Party office here, he claimed that the Centre relaxed note ban norms for some time at the behest of the youngest state. He recalled that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to relax note ban for farmers, agriculture markets, small business and petrol bunks for more time and sought an increase of loan amount Rs. 24000 for the farmers.
He refuted the comments of the opposition that the government is not discussing in the Assembly on financial issues. The opposition is trying to talk something on note scrap causing the problem to the people across the nation. The Government will conduct Assembly session in December last week, he said.
Rajeshwar Reddy flayed that the Congress and Telugu Desam are indulging in the blame game on the TRS Government for political gain. There is no content in the allegations being leveled by the opposition parties, he said. Unlike the previous United state, Telangana Government passed every bill introduced in the Assembly. He ridiculed that the opposition is running away from the house while the government was explaining the schemes through power point presentation. The Assembly session to be held in December will focus on problems of people and not take up issues related to corruption of the opposition parties.
