Pradeep Chandra takes charge as new CS of Telangana

Hyderabad, Nov.30: The State government has appointed K. Pradeep Chandra, IAS, of 1982 batch, as new Chief Secretary to succeed Dr. Rajiv Sharma, IAS, of the same batch, who retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation in the afternoon on November 30. In the afternoon, Pradip Chandra took charge as Chief Secretary of Telangana State at the Secretariat. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao also appointed Dr. Rajiv Sharma as Special Advisor to the government. KCR hoped that the new CS would discharge duties to implement welfare schemes and development programs for the welfare of the society and development. Pradip Chandra said he would give his best to keep the expectations of the government.
