AP CM termed currency crisis as a 'National Calamity'

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu termed the present currency crisis as 'National Calamity'. He appealed for coordinated and collective efforts to over come it. During a teleconference today, he told to bankers "Don't feel that I am exerting pressure on you. Relieving the public from troubles is my only concern. Thats why I am interfering in your affairs." Yesterday, AP CM commented that only because of bankers non-cooperation attitude public and state forced to stay as helpless. Bankers were in a mood that CM is "overstepping his jurisdiction" and issuing guidelines and orders which are in contravention of RBI and their own banks. They felt that its an "unwanted interference". Keeping in view of such opinion, today AP CM spoke to them in a conciliatory tone.
