People have Doubts over KCR—Modi Meet: Uttam
Hyderabad, Nov.23: Alleging that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was least bothered about the problems of the people, TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that KCR met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi only to turn his black money into white. There were several doubts among the people on KCR’s meeting with the Prime Minister, he said. The people were still facing a lot of hardships due to demonetisation of big notes, he said and announced that the Congress party would take up dharnas and agitations on the demonetisation of big notes issue. Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday after a meeting with the important party leaders, Uttam said that the economy of the nation was fragmented with the demonetisation of big notes. The BJP was indulging in counter attack when Congress questioned it on the problems faced by the people, he said and asked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to tell as to what happened to his assurance of depositing Rs.15 lakh in every body’s account by bringing black money from foreign countries. Modi’s rule was reflecting Tuglaq rule, he criticised and said that breaks were applied for the developing India with the maladroit decision. The GDP fell to the bottom level, he pointed out. He called upon the Party cadre to participate in assisting the people, who stayed in long queues before the banks and ATMs. Uttam made it clear that Modi has to own responsibility of deaths taking place at banks. Expressing objection over the construction of new Camp Office with Rs.40 crore by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Uttam asked KCR to tell whether Telangana state was a secular one or not, to believe in superstitions and vastu and wasting public money. The Chief Minister left to the winds his assurance of constructing two lakh double bed room houses this financial year, he alleged, adding that KCR concentrated only on constructing lavish buildings for his sake.
