'Amma' shifted to normal ward
Puruchitalaivi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has been shifted from ICU to a regular ward today. Yesterday Apollo Hospitals chairman Dr.Prathap C Reddy said that Jayalalithaa is now put on ventilator only for 15 minutes a day. CM Jayalalithaa was admitted into hospital on September 22 with complaints of "dehydration and fever". Doctors from AIIMS, UK, and with a team of experts from Apollo treated her. Last week from hospital bed she issued a statement saying "Due to the continuous prayers by people in Tamil Nadu, in other states and across the world, I have taken rebirth and I am happy to share this information with you," This evening AIADMK shared the latest information by tweeting "Puratchi Thalaivi Amma shifted from ICU to normal ward in Apollo hospital today"
