Venkaiah pats Chandrababu for setting up VIT
Amaravati, Nov.3: Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today appreciated efforts of AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who has succeeded in setting up the prestigious Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) here.
The Union minister was speaking at the foundation laying ceremony of VIT, a private institute founded by an educationist and politician Viswanathan. Stating that agriculture and industry are two eyes for development, Venkaiah said 32,000 students would get technological education in VIT. He said, “In spite of competition in the world, we should not forget our mother tongue, and you should be expert in other languages”. He exhorted NRIs to invest in the State for providing employment.
The program was attended by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his cabinet colleagues besides Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.
