Sudershan Reddy takes charge as Civil Supplies Chairman

Hyderabad, Oct.22: In what is called a rich dividend to his loyalists, TRS boss and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today nominated Peddi Sudershan Reddy as Chairman of Civil Supplies Corporation. Sudershan Reddy took oath of office at Secretariat here on Saturday in a program. Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari felicitated him with a shawl while ministers T Harish Rao, E Rajender, G Jagadish Reddy, A Chandulal, T Nageshwar Rao, A Indrakaran Reddy, MPs K Kavitha, Vinodkumar, Suman and Captain Lakshmikantha Rao and Commissioner CV Anand and others were present. Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha said Sudershan Reddy has got recognition to his services to the party since inception. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is aware of sincerity of the leaders, who strove for its success, she noted. Srihari said Sudershan Reddy has been a committed leader in Warangal district and gathered the people for the statehood movement. The Chairman post of the key department will help serve the best, he said. Eatala Rajender, who holds Civil Supplies portfolio, recalled that Peddi Sudershan Reddy has been playing a key role in the statehood movement. He hoped that the Civil Supplies chairman will perform his duties with utmost care and cater to the needs of the people relying on essential commodities through ration shops
