TS will experience heavy loss with BK Tribunal Verdict: Ponguleti
Hyderabad, Oct.20: Bemoaning that the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal verdict on Krishna Water was shocking to the two Telugu states, Congress MLC and AICC secretary Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has demanded the Chief Minister to convene an all-party meeting and tell as to what he will do on this issue.
Speaking to the media at Assembly media hall here on Thursday, Ponguleti said that it was disgusting that the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal didn’t consider four states as stake-holders in its verdict. He said that the Telangana state will experience heavy loss due to this verdict. Asking the Chief Minister to take the verdict seriously, Ponguleti questioned him to tell whether there was no stuff in the argument made by Telangana state in front of the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal.
Pointing out that the Chief Minister criticizes opposition parties seriously, but failed to protect the interests of the state, Ponguleti demanded the Telugu Ministers in the Narendra Modi Cabinet to tender their resignations protesting against the verdict of the Tribunal. He asked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to respond immediately keeping the interests of the state in view, on the Tribunal verdict. He said that the Congress party was ready to join hands with the ruling party to protect the interests of the state in regard to Krishna Waters.
