Actor Vijaychander donates 2 acre land to Sindhu

Hyderabad, Aug 20: YSR Congress leader and film star Vijaychander has announced a gift to two-acre land to PV Sindhu who won the silver medal at the Rio Olympics besides scripting a record of being the first woman to enter the final of Olympics. ‘The two-acre land will be registered in the name of PV Sindhu and will be handed over to her by our Party leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at a convenient date,’ he told media here on Saturday. The land would be given from his Karunamayudu Charitable Trust, and it is located at Karakapatla village which is 3-km away from Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s farm house, he said. Sindhu has done the nation proud by being the first woman to win a silver medal in the Olympics and stands as an inspiration to the future generations to come more so to the girl child, he said.
