Korramenu is Telangana State fish

After State tree, bird, flower and fruit, the Telangana government on Wednesday announced “Korramenu” (known in local parlance as “marel”) as State fish. The government has issued a GO in this regard. The TRS government has already announced “Palapitta” as State bird, “Tangedu puvvu” as State flower, mango as State fruit, “Jammi” tree as State tree, Kabbaddi as State play and “Krishna Jinka” as State animal. Now popular fish Korramenu is State fish.
