Why blame us when HC falls under Central List: AP Dy CM

Referring to the ongoing agiration in Telangana for a division of the Andhra Pradesh High court, AP Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy said it was an item under the Central list. He pointed out that the Andhra Pradesh government had shown a site in Capital Amaravati for the construction of a High court building. It was for the Centre to provide the funds for the construction of the building, he added. Therefore, he said it was unfair to blame the AP government or its leaders for the continuation of the status quo in the AP High Court. When the High court was in the Central List, it was not proper to blame the AP State government for the failure of the division of the AP High Court.
