TS to formulate guidelines for film, TV, theatre awards

The Telangana government has constituted a nine-member committee headed by Information Commissioner Navin Mittal to frame modalities for offering state-level awards for personalities of film, television and theatre arts in the State. The Information Commissioner as member secretary started formulating the required guidelines of Film, TV and Theatre Arts division at a meeting chaired by Government Advisor, KV Ramana Chary, on Friday. They discussed the awards and related issues at the meeting which decided to meet again in July to finalise the guidelines. Noted film personalities, including K Murali Mohan, Producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Dil Raju, Director N Shankar, M Shyamprasad Reddy, Suresh Kondeti, Joint Managing Director Kishore Babu and Executive Director Rajeswhar Rao attended.
