Rich tributes paid to veteran actor Ramanamurthy
The final rites of prominent film personality, JV Ramana Murthy, were performed by his sons, Arun Kumar and Harshvardhan, at the Punjagutta cremation grounds on Friday. He died while undergoing treatment at Banjara Hills Star Hospital on Wednesday. He was 84. From the hospital, his body was shifted to his Ameerpet residence. There film actors and fans paid their respects to the veteran actor. His relatives also arrived in large numbers. Ramanamurthy acted in 150 films. The people praised his services to the film field and recounted their association with him through the years. Ramanamurthy was a brother of J.V. Somayajulu of `Shankarabharanam' fame.
