Young woman techie stabbed to death in Chennai
A young woman techie, Swati, aged 25, was stabbed to death at Nungambakkam railway station in Chennai on Friday morning. Swati was awaiting like other passengers for the train, when she was stabbed by an unidentified person. He then ran away. Even before the co-passengers could intervene, Swati fell on the ground and died. The police arrived on the spot and shifted the body to hospital. Post-mortem examination will be conducted on the body. The police are investigating. Swati belonged to Chulaimedu in the city.
