Media reports on Capital lands, Secretariat building criminal, says Babu

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said newsmen were writing news stories as they pleased in regard to Amaravati lands and the Secretariat construction. Talking to the media after the Cabinet meeting, Chandrababu said journalists should practise equanimity while writing news. They must stick to the truth. Some wrote that two of the Sachivalayam blocks had caved in while under construction. `This is criminal,' he added. He noted that the media wrote that there was a scam of Rs 100,000 crores in the capital lands. He wanted to know where was the scope for such a massive scam in Amaravati. If the journalists continued in the same mud-slinging style, the faith of foreign agencies coming to help the government and farmers who had given their lands for capital construction would be shaken, he added. He told the journalists not to commit such professional crimes.
