AP civic staff to shift to Amaravati by June 27

The Andhra Pradesh government's municipal staff working in Hyderabad will be the first department to move to Amaravati by June 27, AP Sachivalaya employees leader Muralikrishna announced on Tuesday. The entire AP staff would move away to Amaravati by August 15. He was speaking to the media at AP Sachivalaya in Hyderabad accompanied by employee leaders. Muralikrishna said they would cooperate with the State government in the shift to Amaravati. Already work was going on for shifting the different departments. The AP staff have been enthused by the presidential order on their domicile status. The Gazette notification said all those returning to AP by June 2, 2017, would be domiciles.
