Chandrababu cuts down on rhetoric, puts in emotion
Telugu Desam Party supremo and AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday changed his rhetoric fashion and adopted the style of his father-in-law and predecessor, Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, who would often say `people are my gods.' After administering the reconstruction pledge to the people in Vijayawada, he addressed them emotionally. At the start itself, he addressed the people as, `My five crore Andhras ... Each one of you is as precious as my life ...' Such pleasing phrases were used only by NTR in the past. Chandrababu is used to delivering straightforward speeches straight as an arrow. Now there is emotion in his words and aimed at rising emotions in the listeners.
