Congress responsible for Telangana's illegal projects : TDP

Hyderabad, May 23: Andhra Pradesh TDP official spokesperson Mallela Linga Reddy today held former Chief Minister late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and APCC president N. Raghuveera Reddy as responsible for construction of illegal projects by the Telangana State government. Speaking to the media here on Monday, Linga Reddy pointed out that during previous Congress regime GOs were released for Palamuru-Rangareddy and Dindi lift irrigation projects. “Is it not the responsibility of Raghuveera reddy, who was minister in the then Congress government? Andhra Pradesh is facing unprecedented problems after bifurcation of the united State due to the “misdeeds” of Congress government when late YSR and Kiran Kumar Reddy ruled the State”, he added. Questioning the propriety of Maha dharna organsied by the Congress, the TDP leader alleged that GOs were released in hastily for these projects without taking permission just to amass money by Congress leaders. “Is it not Congress party which indirectly gave permission to construct these illegal projects?, he asked. He alleged that dharnas being organized by Raghuveera Reddy was just to cover up his misdeeds because when Kiran Kumar Reddy government issued GO for Palamuru project, the former was a minister in his cabinet. Linga Reddy asserted that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was working to protect the interests of the State without any compromise. “How can you organize dharna when your government had issued the GOs for these projects? YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and Congress State president N. Raghuveera Reddy should apologise to people for their misdeeds during Congress rule.”, he added
