Minister Tummala resigns from Legislative Council

Hyderabad, May 23: In the wake of landslide victory in Palair byepoll, Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao today resigned to his MLC post. On receiving the same, Council Chairman Swamy Goud accepted his resignation. Nageshwar Rao is to take oath as an MLA on May 26, it is said. Tummala got more than 45,000 votes majority on his congress rival Sucharitha Reddy in the byepoll.
