Radhika, Adilabad Addl SP, scales Everest

Additional superintendent of Adilabad Radhika on Friday morning scaled Mt Everest, becoming the first woman police officer to do so in South India. Hailing from Cuddapah district, Radhika had been additional SP in Adilabad for 1 year now. Radhika left for the Everest expedition on April 5. This morning her team scaled the Everest. In the six-member team, Radhika is the only woman. She had already scaled the 7077-metre high Kuna peak. That was also a record since she was the second woman to mount Kuna peak.
