P. Venkateswara Rao hurt, wife & driver killed in mishap

APCOB chairman Pinnamaneni Venkateswara Rao's car met with a serious accident on Monday night when the car in which the family was traveling turned upside down at Pahadisharif. His wife, Satyavani, and driver Das died in the accident and Venkateswara Rao sustained serious injuries. Blood was spattered at the accident spot and the bodies were thrown out of the car. The accident occurred on the outer ring road. Venkateswara Rao was admitted to the Apollo Hospital. His condition was said to be stable. Apollo Hospital at Jubilee Hills said while the injury to Venkateswara Rao was serious, there was no threat to his life.
