Minister questions Jagan's intention behind Jala Deeksha

Vijayawada, May 16: A P Minister Devineni Umamaheshwara Rao today said he wanted to know why YSR Congress Party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy launched “ Jala Deeksha”. The minister asked whom Jagan wanted to deceive with his Jala Deeiksha. YSRCP president was trying to create obstacles in development of the State, Devineni alleged. The State was facing many problems due to misrule of late YSR during united Andhra Pradesh State and now Jagan was trying to cover up his father’s misdeeds, he said. While Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was busy with taking up various developmental works in the State, Jagan was taking rest in air-conditioned rooms and coming out once in six months, he said and alleged that Jagan got contract of Palamuru-Rangareddy to his henchmen and now he was making a hue and cry when this got exposed. YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today launched Jala Deeksha at Kurnool alleging that the TDP government has failed to stop construction of projects by the TRS government. Jagan wanted to mount pressure on Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to take steps to stop projects taken up by the Telangana government across Krishna river.
