Brahmins warn Ilaiah over 'lazy' comments
Hyderabad, May 15: Andhra Pradesh Brahmana Seva Sangams Samakhya has taken serious exception to pungent remarks of Prof. Kanche Ilaiah against the Brahmins and warned him of dire consequences if he failed to change his hostile attitude towards Brahmins. On Sunday, Samakhya president Jwalapuram Srikanth, in a pressnote reacted sharply to Kanche Ilaiah’s atrocious article in a newspaper alleging that Brahmins are lazy people, who eat and sit idle. Srikanth asked Ilaiah to understand the Vedas and Mantras by reading them with attention and clear his doubts. “It is not proper for Ilaiah to target Brahmins needlessly”, he warned.
