Modi adds Jai Vigyan to `Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi did one up on the slogan of `Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Sastry by adding Jai Vigyan, commemorating National Technology Day. Now the new slogan reads, `Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vignan'. In his Twitter account, the Prime Minister greeted the nation, saying `Greetings to our citizens on National Technology Day.' He said: `Let's further increase the use of technology in our daily lives and use the technology to bring a positive difference in solciety. Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan.' National Technology Day is celebrated in the country by the Ministry of Science and Technology every year on May 11.
