Don't politicise Rajolibanda, Harish pleads

The Congress leaders do not speak with one voice and they have different versions depending on the time and place, Telangana Major Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao says. Describing Congress leaders fasting against the Rajolibanda diversion scheme (Kaleshwaram project) as unwarranted, Harish Rao said on Tuesday that as regards Medigadda project the Maharashtra Congress charges were false. The ruling TRS was however working on the RDS according to plan. While the Congress was now staging dharna on the RDS which had a bearing on Maharashtra, did their leaders ever talk to Karnataka on the inter-state projects with that State? He said politicising RDS was unfortunate. He recently visited Bangalore, pleading for the release of 3 tmc water for drinking water purposes. He again rang up the Karnataka minister Patil reiterating the request. Bringing the TDP into the picture, Harish Rao said if the two erstwhile ruling parties said anything untoward on the Telangana projects the people would teach them a lesson.
