What angers Mohammed Azharuddin?
Former Team India captain Mohammed Azharuddin chafes at just one question. He does not care for the promotion activity he may have to do if that question is asked.
What is the question that riles Azhar, the Hyderabadi lad, so much? Have you taken bribes for match-fixing?
The former India Captain who has scored three debut centuries, which none has done so far, has to put up with such audacious questions ever since the Board of Control of Cricket in India, to show itself as paragon of virtue, had found scapegoats.
The latest occasion is the biographical film on Azhar. The film-makers had advised Azharuddin to play it safe by being diplomatic. But the advice itself is galling to Azhar because Hyderabad knows him for what he is: All Saints Boy who did great in cricket.
The film unit told him to say `If you see the picture, you will know the answer.' That is obviously not enough honesty, to one who played the gentleman's game at the top for too long.
