City Police launch Bharosa for women, kids
Bharosa to give protection to women and children was started on Saturday by the Telangana police. Located in HACA Bhavan, Bharosa service is offered under the chairmanship of Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy.
Women subjected to atrocities could approach Bharosa and get justice done, Nayani said on the occasion of its inauguration. They may ring up Bharosa immediately.
The service can be availed by dialing 100 by women who were subjected to any offence, and the Bharosa will give them protection. In case of children, the number 1098 will have to be dialed.
At Bharosa inauguration, Director-General of Police Anuraj Sharma, Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy, Additional Commissioner of Police Swati Lakra and other police officials participated.
