YCP faults TS Speaker `merger' decision

Telangana Speaker of the Assembly Madhusudanachary's description of the YCP MLAs defecting to the ruling TRS as the parties merger was faulted by the Jaganmohan Reddy party leaders KV Raghava Reddy and Siva Kumar. They pointed out that the defection of one party's MLAs to another party was totally prohibited by the Constitution. In this connection, the YCP leaders wanted the Speaker to announce the constitutionality in the YCP MLAs defecting to the ruling TRS. They pointed out that defection by a party MLAs did not mean a merger. They dubbed the decision unconstitutional. The YCP would challenge the decision, they added.
