Case filed against massive water supply to liquor & soft drink makers in TS

A lawyer has filed a case with the Telangana State High Court that while the people were craving for drinking water, the Telangana government is diverting 1512 million litres of fresh water to liquor and soft drink companies. The diversion of such huge quantity of water to liquor and soft drink manufacturers was telling on the water supply to the people. Counsel said the people were desperate for drinking water in the face of drought-like conditions. Counsel expressed his anxiety over the huge water supply to liquor and soft drink manufacturers and diverting from the water supply to the people.
