Krish donates prize money for Cancer Hospital
The best regional film-maker, Krish, who won the national award for his `Kanche' (fencing) cinema, is donating the prize money he has got with the award for the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital. In a tweet making the announcement, Krish (Ramakrishna Jagarlamudi) said along with his mother, many patients were getting treatment for cancer from the hospital. He said he would be donating the prize money to the hospital that was offering sophisticated care for the cancer patients. The awards were presented by President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday. Krish would also be directing Balakrishna's 100th film, `Gautamiputra Satakarni.' Along with Balakrishna, Kabir Bedi would be acting in the film.
