The liquor shopowner is proud in announcing that his sales have gone up by 900%. The neighbouring villages in Ballia also witnessed a jump in liquor sales. Bhav Raha village in Chandauli district of UP witnessed a whopping 3000% jump in liquor sales. Thus Bihar's ban on liquor is boon for bordering districts in UP and Jharkhand.
