Rahul Raj, serial offender, refused bail by court

Rahul Raj Singh was denied bail in the `Balika Vadhu' star Pratyusha Banerjee death case on the ground that it could turn out to be a murder case. Judge K.F. Ahmed of Bombay gave the necessary orders on Thursday when Rahul Raj bail plea came up for hearing. Counsel for Pratyusha's parents opposed the bail plea, saying it was a case of murder. The Judge agreed with the view. Rahul Raj could still seek a bail in a higher court. However, increasing testimonies now reveal that Rahul Raj is a serial offender of women artistes. Kesha Kambhati and another artiste have charged him with looting them of lakhs of rupees. According to them, Rahul Raj preyed on some dozen women artistes. Rahul Raj victims are now coming into the open following suicide by Pratyusha. Pratyusha was similarly successfully trapped and then tortured by him.
