Blue iceballs shed by aircraft hurt MP villagers

The people of Sagar district in Madhya Pradesh see God's wrath in the fall of huge blue iceballs on the people in the areas. God is not happy with us. That is why He is dumping iceballs on us, 60-year-old Paramanand Khodre believes. The truth is falling iceballs are of two kinds. One is the dumping of human waste by passing aircraft. As it is let out by aircraft, urine becomes solidified and forms ice. Normally small balls are ejected. But to save energy on the aircraft, sometimes big balls are let out. The big balls could be as big as 5 to 50 kg. In fact, one 50 kg waste ball hit the side of her hut and brushed a tribal woman Rajrani in Sagar. She was injured. The scientific process by which big blocks of ice are formed owing to certain atmospheric conditions in certain places is called Megacryometeor. Aviation consultant BK Srivastava of Delhi says the people who are hurt because of the blue iceballs shed by aircraft could claim compensation under the law.
