Akshara Gowda plays an actress in 'Mayavan'

Chennai, March 24: Akshara Gowda plays an actress in Sundeep Kishan-starrer Tamil-Telugu sci-fi thriller "Mayavan", which is being directed by C.V. Kumar. "Although it's a cameo, Akshara plays an actress of superstar status in the film. It's an interesting role and her look is going to be very appealing," a source told IANS on Thursday. Having already shot for two days, she needs to shoot for one more day to complete her portion. Also starring Lavanya Tripathi, the film is currently on the floors in the city. Sundeep plays a slightly short-tempered, realistic police officer in "Mayavan", which is slated for release later this year.
