At Lotus Pond, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, MP, would hoist the party flag, according to party general secretary Venumbaka Vijayasai Reddy. Party MPs, MLAs and MLCs are expected to participate in the programme. The party founded by YS Jaganmohan Reddy is concentrating on AP where it had won 67 MLA seats. Subsequently, ten MLAs crossed over to the ruling TDP. Despite the setback the party is continuing its role as responsible opposition party in the State Assembly.
