Kalva Srinivasulu unhappy with YCP no-trust move
Government Chief Whip Kalva Srinivasulu is angry with the Opposition YCP that it has filed the No-Confidence Motion against the Chandrababu Naidu government during the crucial budget Session of the State Assembly.
Srinivasulu said on Thursday that if the YCP was unhappy with the government policies, there were many avenues for it to express itself, knowing full well the no-trust would be rejected. Without weighing the other options, the YCP should not jump in with the no-trust move.
Finding an opportunity when the YCP members trooped out of the House to protest against the TDP government's indifference towards joblessness in the State, Government Chief Whip, who also came out, put a straight question to Jaganmohan Reddy: "How many of your party MLAs have faith in the No-Confidence Motion? How many of them will vote in favour of such a motion?'
Government Chief Whip's question has a catch. Would it reveal some more YCP MLAs as leaving the party and joining the ruling TDP? It remains to be seen.
