Siachen Hero Sepoy Mustaq's body arrives
The Hero of Siachen glacier avalanche, Sepoy Mustaq Ahmed's body has been received at Begumpet airport on Monday with full military honours. Top Military brass and leaders from a cross section of society paid their tributes to him. By a special plane, it will be flown to Nandyal in Kurnool district on Tuesday. Then by road the hero's body would be taken to his native village Parnepalem. Officials have already made arrangements for the burial. On Tuesday, the body will be interred with Military honours. As the body was received, the Andhra Pradesh government announced an ex gratia of Rs.25 lakh to the bereaved family. Plus a member of the Mustaq family would be given a job.
