Sunanda Pushkar was poisoned: Media reports

Sunanda Pushkar was poisoned, say media reports. Sunanda, wife of then Union Minister and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, had died in mysterious circumstances in a five-star hotel in New Delhi on January 14, 2014. The high profile case had eluded an answer to the mystery. The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, which was asked to study samples of Sunanda's viscera, gave its final report to the police on Friday morning. The Delhi Police Commissioner, BS Bassi, acknowledged the receipt of the report but was tight lipped about the contents. The media have however projected poisoning as the cause. The Delhi Police had in November shared the findings of an FBI report that virtually ruled out the theory of 'polonium poisoning' as causing her death.
