Pawan Kalyan fans stage sit-in over flexi damage

The flexi culture and film fans go together rather well. But when politics enters the flexi space, there are problems for all. At Attili in West Godavari district, fans of Power Star Pawan Kalyan had put up his flexi in celebration of Sankranti. As the Pawan flexi was slightly angular and affecting traffic, the local leaders of the TDP got it removed. Soon Pawan Kalyan fans appeared on the scene and questioned how their star's harmless flexi affected the TDP leaders. They alleged that it was not only removed but trampled upon and destroyed. They staged a sit-in at the local police station, demanding the arrest of the TDP leaders. Soon TDP workers joined the scene. Both the groups raised slogans. The Pawan fans demanded an inquiry into the flexi incident. The TDP workers blamed the other group, stating that they were unnecessarily being dragged into the incident. They demanded that cases be filed against Pawan fans also. Both the groups raised slogans in support of their respective demands. Commotion went on beyond midnight despite the best efforts of the police to pacify the crowds. Somehow, the police managed to convince the groups and dispersed them late into the night.
