KCR eyeing for Andhra votes, says Revanth

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao addressing people hailing from coastal districts and living in Hyderabad as `our brothers' was neither here nor there and it was an election gimmick, TTDP working president Revanth Reddy said on Friday. Talking to newsmen at NTR Trust Bhavan, Revanth said KCR was saying so to seek the Andhra votes. Didn't KCR show his hatred for the Andhras in the past, he asked. If he was genuine, would KCR restore the 26 Backward Classes among the Andhras he had removed from the list as they are brothers? he asked. In his irrepressible style, Revanth challenged KCR for a debate on Hyderabad's development. He reminded that it was his leader, Chandrababu Naidu, who had developed the Hitech City in the days when KCR was relaxing at home. The development of Hyderabad is result therefore of Chandrababu's work as Chief Minister. The TTDP leader demanded a direct election for Hyderabad's mayoralty.
