Growing intolerance: Aamir says wife suggested moving out of India

Hyderabad, Nov 24: Joining the chorus of intelligentsia against growing intolerance, Hindi film actor Aamir Khan said was 'alarmed' by the number of incidences of intolerance. In this connection, Aamir said his wife Kiran Rao had suggested that they could leave the country if necessary. Aamir then supported those intelligentsia who were returning their awards. He said one way for creative people to express their disappointment was to return their awards. He made these comments while speaking in Delhi at the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards function. Aamir claimed that he too felt the sense of insecurity and fear in the past six or eight months. Reacting to Aamir's statement, the outspoken Anupam Kher tweeted thus: "Dear @aamir_khan. #SatyamevaJayate u talked about evil practices but gave Hope.
