Sexual abuse in TS secretariat; Woman attempts suicide near Home Minister's peshi

Hyderabad, Oct 30: Sexual predators are ruling the roost in Telangana Secretariat. Unable to bear sexual abuse, a woman attempted suicide near Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy's peshi (office) yesterday. SRK organisation bagged house keeping contract in TS Secretariat and it recruited some woman employees. The company employees SK Vali alias Saidulu, Krishna and Madhu started sexually harassing woman employees. They reportedly showed sexually explicit videos to women employees and asked them to repeat acts appearing on the videos. A victim complained to higher ups but action was not taken on the accused. On knowing about the complaint, the accused increased torture. Unable to bear the harassment, the victim attempted suicide by consuming pesticide. She fell unconscious near Home Minister's chamber and was immediately shifted to a private hospital. Police have not responded on the issue and the victim's condition is stated to be critical.
