Finishing Water Grid project is not an easy task: KTR

Hyderabad, Oct 06: Information Technology and Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao has said that finishing Telangana Water Grid project is not an easy task. In a debate on Water Grid project in Assembly today, KTR said that the pipelines to be laid as a part of the project will criss-cross railway lines at 226 places, national highways at 540 places, panchayat roads at 6,717 places and canals at 647 places. He claimed that several organisations came forward to sanction loans to the project without seeking DPR. He announced that Telangana government would provide drinking water along with broadband connection to all the households.
