Akbaruddin booked for inflammatory speech
Kishanganj (Bihar), Oct 06: Officials have lodged a FIR against AIMIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi for allegedly making inflammatory speech at an election rally in Kishanganj district in Bihar.
According to reports, the police are probing whether the damages to idols at some temples in Kishanganj town was a fallout of the speech.
Kishanganj SP Rajiv Ranjan said that an FIR was lodged on the basis of Magistrate's report. Akbaruddin on Sunday addressed an election rally at Sontha village under Kochadhaman constituency in the district. AIMIM Bihar chief Akhatarul Imama is contesting from the constituency.
Akbaruddin reportedly used derogatory language against all the members of Parliament except his brother and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi. It is said that he also made provocative remarks against BJP leaders.
