Errabelli's arrest triggers tension

Palakurthi (Warangal), Sep 27: Tension prevailed at Palakurthi in Warangal district following the arrest of TDP floor leader in Telangana Assembly Errabelli Dayakar Rao. TRS activists obstructed Errabelli from attending inauguration of Ilamma Market Yard in the town and this resulted in clashes between TRS and TDP cadres. The rival groups pelted stones at each other. According to reports, 10 TDP activists and five TRS members were injured in the clash. Palakurthi SI Osman Sharif and two media personnel were also injured. Police chased away the two groups to bring the situation under control. As a precautionary measure, police detained Errabelli Dayakar Rao. The situation in the village is tense and further reports are awaited.
