Syringe attacks: Two suspects held

Eluru (West Godavari), Aug 31: The police today reportedly detained two persons suspected to have been involved in the syringe attacks in the West Godavari district. According to reports, a suspect was held at Shivadevunichikkala village near Palakol in West Godavari district. Similarly, another person was held at Bobbarlanka in East Godavari district. Syringes and bikes were seized from them. The police are interrogating the suspects at Ravulapalem. SP Bhaskar Bhushan said syringe attacks reported after August 26 were hoaxes. He said that 11 cases were registered in connection with the attacks. Accused nabbed at Bobbarlanka is identified as Ravi Kumar. He hails from Burrelanka village of Kadiyam mandal.
