Speaker rejects YSRCP's adjournment motion over special status

Hyderabad, Aug 31: Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao rejected a notice by YSRCP party for an adjournment motion on special status. YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy and the party members moved the motion. Chandrababu Naidu and Jagan exchanged heated arguments over the special status issue. As soon as the session began, YSRCP members raised slogans seeking adjournment motion on special status issue. Jaganmohan Reddy demanded the TDP to withdraw its support to Central government. Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao asked Jagan not to speak on the rejected adjournment motion. Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu flayed YSRCP for raising the issue even after government announced that it would make a statement in the house.
