Nizam College student files ragging complaint

Hyderabad, Aug 06: An incident of ragging has surfaced at Nizam College in Hyderabad today. The victim Rajeswari, degree second year student, called police control room and complained that she was unable to bear ragging and would commit suicide. The control room staff engaged the victim in discussion and alerted local police. The victim alleged that degree third year student Rajashekar was harassing her. As soon as the call ended, local police entered the college premises and detained Rajeshwari and shifted her to Abids police station. Police were collecting details from the victim when the reports last came in.
